Sellstrom's new MagSense™ Auto-Darkening Filter technology was recently featured at the International Schweissen & Schnieden Trade Fair in Essen Germany!

The MagSense™ filter features a patented opto-magnetic detection system that is the most fail-safe welding arc recognizing system in the world. The auto-darkening filter will remain active until the arc extinguishes allowing for a very low amerage and stable welding that has never been used before in a general working environment. Odyssey II Goggle line is now enhanced with a new Panoramic Wildland Fire Goggle - NFPA 1977, 2005 Ed. Certified

With a panoramic view and a unique dual-sealed lens, which is scratch-resistant on the outside/anti-fog in the inside, sets this smokin’ goggle apart from the rest. The Odyssey® II Wildland Fire Goggle has a soft, ski-style shaped body that provides a comfortable fit, panoramic vision and a soft closed cell foam seal allowing no smoke or water to come in. The Odyssey® II Wildland Fire Goggle easily fits over prescription eyewear and is supplied with an adjustable flame retardant strap, securing a snug fit to any size face.  The non-vented goggle body provides ultimate protection against heat, liquids, dust and smoke. Made out of high temperature materials, all which have been tested at 350 degrees F. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003 Standards, is CUL Certified and now is NFPA 1977, 2005 Ed. Certified.

Sellstrom now offers cobalt blue protective eyewear, faceshield, welding goggle and 2x4 filter plate lens (in both shade 6 and 10) to meet your unique work environment needs. Cobalt blue products diffuse the orange glow that strong sodium emissions generally produce, allowing the user to see and perform more efficiently. These products would be ideal in gas welding applications for aluminum and cast iron as well as in metal, gas and glass furnace operations. All cobalt blue products meet and/or exceed ANSI Z87.1 Standards.
