Models S90243 & S90243-2 feature 1" IPS chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve and Teflon seals - meet ANSI Z358.1 standards
 
 
Models S90243-3 feature slow self-closing valve with pull chain and ring (shower operates for 10 seconds after chain is released)
 
 
Self-closing valve models do not meet ANSI 358.1 standards
